Easy Greek-Style Ground Turkey Plate — Because Chicken is Gross Right Now

Look, I’m not here to pretend chicken is my bestie these days because it’s definitely not. So I grabbed 3 pounds of ground turkey instead, and honestly? Game changer.

I dumped the turkey in the pan, browned that sucker up, and didn’t hold back on Kinder’s Greek seasoning — because bland food can just 🖕off. Then, just when I thought it couldn’t get better, I threw in two tablespoons of butter. Yes, butter in turkey. Don’t act like you’ve never thought about it. It makes the meat juicy and full of flavor.

While that was cooking, I threw together some rice, sliced some cucumbers, and halved cherry tomatoes (or didn’t — I’m not here to judge how you eat). Then I loaded the plate with tomato & basil feta (the fancy stuff is worth it), Kalamata olives because olives are life, pepperoncini for a little spice, and my homemade pickled purple onions (because I’m fancy like that).

The tzatziki sauce is dumb simple: sour cream, garlic paste (for smoothness, no chunks allowed), lemon juice and dill — which I forgot this round but will remember next time because dill is life. Mix it up, chill it, and drizzle that goodness on your plate.

So yeah. This meal? Easy. Flavorful. Made with zero patience but all the love. Your family will thank you — or at least eat it quietly.

Ingredients:

3 lbs ground turkey (because chicken is giving me the absolute ick right now) Kinder’s Greek seasoning (use way more than you think you need) 2 tbsp butter (yes, butter in turkey — don’t @ me) Cooked rice (whatever you got, just make it happen) Cherry tomatoes, halved or not, I don’t care Cucumber slices (keep it fresh) Tomato & basil feta cheese (the fancy stuff makes a difference) Kalamata olives (because olives) Pepperoncini (that little spicy kick, please) Pickled purple onions (homemade or store-bought, your call) Easy tzatziki sauce: 4 oz sour cream 1 tsp garlic paste (for that smooth, no-chunk vibe) 1 tbsp lemon juice (fresh or that sad bottle squeeze, I’m not judging) Dill (fresh or dry, dump as much as your soul desires) Salt & pepper (season like you mean it)

Instructions:

Dump your ground turkey in the pan and brown it like you mean it. Slap on a generous amount of Kinder’s Greek seasoning because bland is for suckers. Toss in 2 tablespoons of butter — yeah, I said butter — and stir that buttery magic into your turkey. You’re welcome. Cook your rice. Don’t overthink it. Slice up your cucumbers and tomatoes — halves, wholes, whatever. I’m not your food police. Assemble your plate: a big ol’ scoop of rice, a mountain of that juicy turkey, cucumbers, tomatoes, feta, olives, pepperoncini, and onions. Mix your tzatziki sauce ingredients, chill it, and drizzle like you’re fancy AF. Sprinkle with fresh parsley for extra pizazz. ✨
